Meet the Trainers

We give our members the coaching they deserve and treat everyone with respect, regardless of their current state of health. We are in the business of changing lives by educating our members about the importance of all the body’s requirements to achieve extraordinary results. Our approach to health and wellness focuses not only on physical fitness training, but strengthening the mind, body and soul. We know that incorporating all the body’s requirements allows a person to reach their fullest potential in all aspects of life.

  1. We encourage you to arrive early and stay late. Cheer, clap and encourage others. Anything less is to cheat yourself of the experience and to rob others of the gift of your presence and support as part of the community. If you are late for class there is a 20 burpee penalty, this is mainly to warm you up for class =D
  2. Accidents and injuries happen and usually come as a result of impatience. Slow down. Ask questions. Ask for help. Most importantly check your ego at the door!
  3. EMPTY barbells were not designed to be dropped (neither were dumbbells or kettlebells). We don’t want our toys, the floors, you, or someone else broken unnecessarily. There will be a 20 burpee penalty if you drop them!
  4. Chalk is useful, even necessary. It is also very messy. Use as much as you need but keep the excess inside the chalk bucket because all the extra dust will break our vacuum cleaner and no one wants to workout in a dirty gym.
  5. Clean up and put away all equipment after each workout. Clean up your spit, blood, chalk, dirt, vomit, handprints, and whatever else you’ve left behind.
  6. Grunting, screaming, and otherwise making noise are all welcome and encouraged during a workout. There is such a thing as gentle, quiet strength, although most of us haven’t mastered that yet. Also, there is such a thing as too loud, crass, gross or rude – please be respectful as this will not be tolerate.
